Halloween

We had an awesome Halloween.  We went to a total of five Halloween parties!  June was a princess and Milo was a bat.  I am still without a computer and using Blake's and it makes me want to scream, so everything is very simple.

I have been hunting for a good set of children's books that are on June's reading level.  So many of the books are about precocious and sassy kids.  June loves Junie B. Jones, but the humor is a little over her head and she's sassy and she has bad grammar, so.....

We have fallen in love with Mercy Watson. Cutest books ever.  They are chapter books, but with tons of gorgeous illustrations.  Yay for good books.  Yay for reading on the porch with Popsicles.

Little Lucinda

I know it's not wrong to think your kids are cute.  But is it wrong to say out loud that you think they are really cute?  Is it?  June recently got mistaken for a baby Lucinda (her Aunt) and I couldn't have been more excited, because let me tell you...she has some pretty aunts.  We'll take those Johnson genes.

Sunday Mornings

We're still here.

It seems I am infinitely behind on blogging.  In short, my kids are getting cuter...and naughtier, really they are.  And I am getting older.

Milo is 1!

One year ago yesterday, the happiest, fattest, sweetest baby ever made, came into our family.  He makes me unhinged with happiness and we couldn't imagine our lives without him.  Don't you just want to spread him on a cracker and eat him up.... I do.  Happy Birthday little Double Scoop!
